When you think about it, pre-wedding photoshoots can be an amazing opportunity to get creative with your wedding theme. So put on your favorite outfit, and spend a day playing around in front of the camera and make beautiful moments that you will one day look back to.
Start with a theme
With your venue, location and photographer in mind, the next step is to determine what theme you want for your shoot. Often, couples choose a photoshoot theme that is in line with their wedding day theme. The overall theme will determine how decorations are put together and what kind of vibe it will create.
For example, if you’re going for a sophisticated look with muted colors and clean lines, then a Victorian-inspired theme would work—but if your wedding has an outdoorsy feel with lots of natural elements, then something more rustic might complement that better.

Get creative!
Make it personal. This is your big day, so don’t be afraid to put your own spin on things. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quirky idea or something more traditional—make sure it reflects who you are as a couple!
Props can be your friend!. Not only will this make your photos stand out from others, but it’ll also give them an extra bit of life if they’re incorporating components that come with stories behind them. Wear something comfortable. You want to look good, but that doesn’t mean you need to wear something fancy or expensive. You should wear something that’s comfortable and makes you feel good.

When you’re in front of the camera, it can be easy to forget about having fun and just worry about getting the perfect shot. But remember that this is a time for celebration—your partner has chosen to spend their life with you, so why not have some fun?
