Decor Tips for Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

Decor tips for pre-wedding photoshoot. Read more to find out!

When you think about it, pre-wedding photoshoots can be an amazing opportunity to get creative with your wedding theme. It’s also a chance for you and your partner to get comfortable in front of the camera. So put on your favorite outfit, and spend a day playing around in front of the camera and make beautiful moments that you will one day look back to.

Start with a theme

With your venue, location and photographer in mind, the next step is to determine what theme you want for your shoot. Often, couples choose a photoshoot theme that is in line with their wedding day theme. The overall theme will determine how decorations are put together and what kind of vibe it will create.

For example, if you’re going for a sophisticated look with muted colors and clean lines, then a Victorian-inspired theme would work—but if your wedding has an outdoorsy feel with lots of natural elements, then something more rustic might complement that better.

You might also want to consider choosing a theme based on the favorite things that you share- books, movies, or even memories from when you have just started dating. Don’t be afraid to just go with whatever makes sense for the space and atmosphere!

Choose your backdrop

Ideally, your backdrop should be in the same color scheme as your wedding. This will make it easier to match the decor and other elements of your pre-wedding photoshoot. For example, if you’re planning on having a rustic look for your wedding, choose a backdrop that has some rustic elements or accessories. You can also include items from nature such as flowers and leaves to add more natural accents to your photos. If you do not have real flowers for the photoshoot, you can still put together a beautiful, floral- themed photoshoot using faux flower wall backdrops.

Choose a backdrop that is easy for you and your team members to work with. You can also incorporate outdoor elements and accentuate it with mesmerizing backdrop lighting for a night time photoshoot.

You need not worry about how backdrops and pipes and bases will be transported as durable, yet lightweight pipe and drape sets are easily available online. Just be sure to order them beforehand and plan your entire shoot with your team so you will not miss any important decorative details of your pre-wedding photoshoot.

Get creative!

Make it personal. This is your big day, so don’t be afraid to put your own spin on things. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quirky idea or something more traditional—make sure it reflects who you are as a couple!

Props can be your friend!. Not only will this make your photos stand out from others, but it’ll also give them an extra bit of life if they’re incorporating components that come with stories behind them. Your photographer will probably have plenty of ideas about where to start finding props for the shoot too!

Wear something comfortable. You want to look good, but that doesn’t mean you need to wear something fancy or expensive. You should wear something that’s comfortable and makes you feel good.

Relax, and enjoy!

When you’re in front of the camera, it can be easy to forget about having fun and just worry about getting the perfect shot. But remember that this is a time for celebration—your partner has chosen to spend their life with you, so why not have some fun?

As long as you’re having fun and enjoying yourself, your photos will reflect that! In fact, if the photographer catches an expression or moment on camera that might not have been planned but looks authentic and genuine, then it makes for great pictures.

The best way to ensure everyone gets along well is by keeping things lighthearted and silly if possible. If there’s any tension among wedding party members during the pre-wedding photoshoot then these tensions could carry through into other areas of planning.

We hope that you find useful tips for your pre-wedding photoshoot. Don’t forget: This isn’t a professional photo shoot; it’s all about creating memories together!
