When planning a wedding it’s easy to get caught up in the
dress shopping and venue hunting. It can also be just as easy to overlook the
preparation you need to do in advance for yourself. To help ease some of the
planning stress and help you look radiant in all your pictures, we’ve put
together the ultimate wedding beauty timeline.

9-12 months before
START PINNING
~Pinterest is a great place to find hair and makeup ideas. So
be sure to save your pins and show them to your stylists.
PLAN YOUR HAIRCUT
~decide if you want hair extensions
~find a stylist and decide on a big day cut and style
FIND A MAKEUP ARTIST
~book a trial (maybe the same day as your engagement shoot
to save money)
5-6 months before
BOOKING
~book your hair stylist and makeup artist for your wedding day
TAKE YOUR VITAMINS
~add a hair, skin, and nails supplement to your daily routine.
I use and would recommend Nature’s Bounty Biotin. My nails are thicker, my
hair is longer and softer.
TREAT YOUR SKIN
~find a face mask that works well with your skin type and
begin doing it 2 months before your wedding for 2-3 days a week.
~exfoliate once a week
WEDDING HEALTH PLAN
~cut down on sugar and caffeine
~find a regular exercise routine that makes you feel awesome
~drink A LOT of water
SMILE
~try teeth whitening now
2-4 months before
TEST OUT TANNERS
~find a self tanner that gives you a natural glow
EYEBROW SHAPING
~if they mess up, you have time to regrow and start over
1 -2 months before
START TANNING
~to establish desired color
3 weeks before
 FINAL
~final facial treatment
~final hair cut and color to make it look fresh and natural
1 week before
HEALTH
~cut sodium to beat bloating
~eat clean foods to boost metabolism
FINAL PREP
~lip exfoliator and mask
~get a wax
days before
PAMPER AND PRIMP
~get a mani/pedi
~spa day: steam, get a massage
~one final soothing facial to help relax, soothe and hydrate
your skin
~sleep!
wedding day

-->

SHAVE, EXFOLIATE, MOISTURIZE
Good luck on your big day! We hope you find our beauty timeline to be helpful!
