Couple of the Month ~ Ashley + Zack, Rochester Hills Private Residence
Zackary and I have known each other for
a long time through many mutual friends but never quite got along with one
another over the years. Then on July 4,
2012 with a group of friends we both attended the Mt. Clemens fireworks. As the
night went on, we started talking and realized our thoughts about each other
were wrong. We hung out many times and through different discussions we knew we
were right for each other making us official on September 1, 2012. Everything
was just all in timing and since that moment we have been inseparable.

We took a vacation to California for me
to meet his parents. One of the days, September 3, 2013, we went to La
Joya, California at the Children’s Cove
which has gorgeous scenery. Zackary took
me up to a bench looking out at the ocean with beautiful cliffs and caves where
it’s a protected habitat for many seals, and proposed . The day was a perfect day and of course I
said Yes! We now have a little baby boy who we love and adore as I am a stay at
home mom and couldn’t ask for anything better. Zackary works for Defense
Enterprise installing fences, gates, and railings exceeding and advancing at
his job. In our spare time, we have been planning our wedding that will be on
September 20, 2014. The ceremony and reception will be held in Rochester Hills
in the backyard of his aunt and uncle’s house. Their backyard has many trees
and wetlands that they own right next to it that work perfectly for our
vintage/rustic themed wedding. The colors for our wedding are lavender and mint
with peach as an accent color. We will be having burlap, lace, and chalkboards
incorporated within the decorations along with many unique diy projects. Our
wedding is going to be a smaller wedding with a guest count around 75 people.
We want a very intimate and romantic feel with string lighting and
candles. We can’t wait for this day to come and see what we’ve been envisioning
come to life.
