Italian American Cultural Center~Jillian + Dave 10-2-09
We didn’t let the rain spoil Jill’s special day. She looked absolutely amazing and her groom Dave in Jill’s words “oh he is so good looking”! I remember her telling me this at one point during the reception…so cute! I loved working with Jill as she was so much fun and she cracked me up on many occasions with the funny things she would say to me in her emails and on the phone! She definately has a great sense of humor and while planning an event of a lifetime you need to have that on your side 🙂
Bridal Beauty handled the hair/make-up for all the ladies and as usual they do a awesome job on my Bridal Party’s.
Basel and his assistant Kathy, from Precious Memories were shooting the day starting at Jill’s parents house. She rented Eleanor Roosevelt’s 59 cadillac limo from Limo World to bring her and the girls to St. Mary’s in Royal Oak. What a cool looking car! Unfortunately I didn’t get any pics of the car to post. Tony from A1 Video met us at the church. This is the first videographer that I have met in 10 years of doing weddings that actually stays to the end like I do! He is very dedicated and I am looking forward to seeing his work since that was the first time we met. Be sure to check out his trailer from the day!
The room at Partridge Creek looked fabulous! AECC Linens took care of those details. Jill chose chocolate and cashmere satin for her linens and chaircovers. The floral arrangements from Mary Jane Flowers were a mix of high and low’s with roses, hydrangeas, berries and more.
The food at the reception was amazing and they have the best Italian Wedding Soup! The couple treated their guests to a yummy chocolate fountain/dessert bar. Gwen from Trifles sure has done a lot of my cakes this season and Jill hired her also. Yay! She really can rock a cake, they are sooo good and beautifully designed.
Marc and his assistant from Night and Day Productions kept the music going and a great time was had by all!
The newlyweds are honeymooning in Hawaii…aaahhh doesn’t that sound lovely right about now?
