Crystal Gardens Southgate ~ Paula + Luke 11/15/13

Paula was referred to us by Ronald Ponkey Photography and we appreciate that! She made all of her own centerpieces and had many items that needed set up. She initially booked us for Day-of Coordination.  As the wedding got closer she realized she also needed us to coordinate her rehearsal since the venue only had someone to play the provided  pre-recorded music. We were happy to help the couple so their bridal party would know how to walk down the aisle, where to stand and know musical prompts. The result was a smooth ceremony.

Samantha and I started our day at the hotel to check on the bridal party, distribute flowers and pin bouts on the guys. We then proceeded to Crystal Gardens in Southgate to get everything ready for the ceremony that took place in their chapel. We loved the monogrammed aisle runner she had custom made. We were sure to not let the guests walk on it prior to the ceremony so we blocked off the aisle and sat guests from the outside of each row. We wanted to preserve it just for the wedding party to make their way in down the aisle.

The reception room was beautiful with all the uplighting, custom monogram logo and splashes of red and black everywhere! It looked very elegant and that is what Paula wanted and we helped accomplish her vision.  The guests enjoyed delicious appetizers while the newlyweds were taking pictures. She also chose a gorgeous ice sculpture and chocolate fountain. The chocolate fountain was a huge hit and not just by the little ones but you guessed it the big kids too! Who doesn’t love chocolate oozing out of a fountain with lots of yummy treats to select from to dip! She also spoiled her guests with a delicious cake, pizza and a photobooth for evening fun!

Everyone had a great time and we wish you two many happy years!!
