Intern Exit Interview ~ Cheyenne
- What things did you enjoy about the internship?
I really enjoyed that I was able to put my social media marketing skills to the test and work on Canva throughout my whole internship. I am glad that Tracie really let me work on the social media end of her business, and trusted me to enhance her brand through my designs.
- Do you think it was a valuable experience if so why?
This internship helped me learn valuable skills in social media marketing and wedding/event planning. Being able to work a wedding that I helped plan was so exciting! I am glad I was able to work with WordPress, Mailchimp, Buffer, Canva and Optinmonster to gain experience in social media marketing.
- What did you learn about wedding/event planning?
The biggest takeaway that I learned from wedding/event planning was the amount of behind the scenes work that goes into making sure an event is perfect. I really enjoyed being able to work on timelines and coordinate with other vendors. I feel like being able to see the final product on the day of a wedding or event is the best part! All the hard work that has gone into planning has finally seen the light of day.
- What was your favorite part of the experience while interning at You’re The Bride?
I would say I really enjoyed being able to work a wedding. It was really fun seeing the full wedding day process and I would love to work another wedding again!
- What did you dislike about the internship?
I did not dislike anything about this internship! I am glad that Tracie was there to support me and whenever I had a question she would always help me! Tracie is a great mentor and I would recommend this internship to anyone.
- Do you have any suggestions on how to change or make the internship better?
No. I think this internship is a great experience for college students looking to expand their knowledge in wedding planning and social media marketing.
- In the future, do you think might be interested in helping again as virtual office or event assistant or wedding coordinator if you have time for pay?
Yes! I would love to work with Tracie again. She has been an amazing boss and has helped me learn so much over the past 5 months.

Tracie is a wonderful boss and mentor! I recommend her as an event/wedding planner and a boss! I am so happy that I got the opportunity to work for Tracie and learn more about he world of wedding planning!
