KayLyn & Jeff ~ St. Clair, MI ~ 6/20/15

KayLyn and Jeff’s wedding took place in her parents backyard near the lake under a pergola built by her Dad in St. Clair, Michigan. The couple’s beloved dog Bodhi also participated in the occasion! The aisle was lined with lanterns that we later moved to lead a lit path to the restroom trailer. The inside of the tent looked absolutely beautiful with twinkle lights and hanging floral that the Bridal Party handled. The guest tables were gorgeous farm tables along with mahogany chairs with a white pad. The tables were adorned with tulle runners, ivory napkins, candlesticks, beautiful china, amber stemware and the most unique flowers in brown glass bottles. KayLyn, her maids and her photographer friend Heather created amazing bouquets for the girls to carry. A friend wrote in gold calligraphy on the burgundy place cards and ivory table numbers..

The YTB team set up napkins, candles, menu cards, table numbers and place cards. Lisa and Lindsay greeted guests upon arrival and came up with a way to keep the place cards from blowing off the table as it was a little windy! Place cards, programs, and tambourines were handed out as each guest arrived. There were a few seating issues that we straightened out along the way as well to make sure their guests were accommodated and happy. We coordinated with the wait staff to attend to the guests needs and a few special requests. It was a super hot day so we made sure the staff  ran to get more lemonade, tea, dessert plates, etc.

After their friend Jeff officiated the special ceremony the couple went right to the Whiskey Bar to sign their marriage license! KayLyn starting pouring shots of Jameson for the guests to celebrate with her and Jeff! The guests enjoyed delicious charcuterie appetizers while the bridal party took pictures
Tracie visited each guest table to invite them for dinner of roasted pig, chicken, green beans, potatoes, salad and rolls. Everyone enjoyed the dinner but saved room for the delicious wedding cake that was on display to make a statement of it’s own. Later in the evening we made sure the pizza got ordered and picked up for the guests to enjoy before leaving for the evening.

Soon after dinner it was time to get the party started with a few formal dances and introductions led by DJ Kurt Colone a childhood friend of the groom’s. It was a wonderful little reunion for Kurt and Jeff to catch up with all their old school pals. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor and they didn’t want the party to end! We can’t forget to mention that the gorgeous bride surprised everyone with another dress so she could dance the night away!

Of course there is tending to the trash, cleaning up the ceremony area, and tearing down the centerpieces, table runners, candles and more at the end of the evening. We were happy to be
able to help the couple enjoy their day and I must say it was a great party!
