Here’s how You Could Have the Wedding of Your Dreams

It doesn’t matter what budget you have because organising all of the finances of your wedding isn’t the most
exciting thing you can do. At the end of the day, it’s crucial and if you do it right, then you’ll soon find that it’s
easier than ever for you to have the best time without worrying about going over your budget.
Get an Idea of your Venue Cost
When you are budgeting your wedding, you need to know that half of your budget is going to go on food and venue
costs. If you overspend here, then you will run out of money for your beverages, décor and vendors. If you decide
to go with a spectacular venue but with lacklustre food then the party won’t last very long at all, and your guests may
come out with a poor experience. One way for you to get around this would be for you to strike that fine balance so that
you can get great food without having to worry too much about money.

Be Flexible
There are plenty of ways that you can stop yourself from paying full price for a venue. You do however have to make sure that
you are flexible where possible. If you want to get married on a Saturday between May and November then you can expect to
pay a higher price. Fridays on the other hand are much lower in demand and therefore it might be a much more efficient option.
Meet the Minimums
A lot of venues and catering services have a food and beverage minimum. This is essentially the lowest amount that you need to
order so you can qualify for the service. If you are concerned that you won’t be able to meet the minimum amount then you need
to talk with your venue or even your catering company to see if you can supplement your menu by having various appetisers,
desserts or even a premium bar. When you do this, they won’t be losing out on money, but it does mean that you can get the
menu options you want if you are having less people.
Prioritise Spending as Much as you Can
When you are coming up with your budget, you need to talk about the three main areas that you need to prioritise. This could
include your diamond rings, your catering and your dress, for example. When you have done this, you then need to write down
what you dream about when you think about these options so that you can use your spending power to make it happen.
When you have these three areas sorted, you know that you can then cut back on everything else. This is one of the best
ways for you to really make the most out of your day without having to worry about a thing.
Of course, there are plenty of ways that you can save money on your big day and believe it or not, you don’t need to compromise.
