Our third stop was in Ann Arbor at
The Gandy Dancer. Situated in the beautifully restored 1886 Michigan Central Depot, Gandy Dancer is an architectural landmark as well as an elegant restaurant known for creative preparations of seafood, steaks and pasta. A popular choice for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties and other special events, the Gandy Dancer offers guests fine cuisine in an sophisticated, historic atmosphere. They have a scrumptious sunday buffet too by reservation. What I loved about this place is no room rentals and they have a fabulous outdoor space that is heated and screened in. During the summer months the screened area can be opened up around the perimeter. If you are looking for a unique place to host your next event you must check this place out.

We also visited grounds and inside of
Earhart Manor. Earhart Manor offers a picturesque setting for indoor and outdoor events for up to 200. The estate features Pewabic tile bathrooms, chandeliers plated in sterling silver, wood-paneled rooms with hidden panels and secret passages, and an ornate central staircase.
This is another very unique location that offers a 20’s feel in my opinion. It is located on the campus of Concordia University. They had wine and a steak appetizer waiting for us.
Reddeman Farms was our fifth stop and a place most of us have never even heard of out in Chelsea. This is a golf course setting complete with a beautiful area to host your next wedding or party for up to 180 guests. They treated us to a fabulous buffet luncheon with everything from shrimp, salmon, prime rib and several declicious sides. Gwen from Gwen’s Cake Decorating out of Saline was there with her delicious cake for us to try. I have had her cake before but its been a while and now I remember her yummy frosting!
The last stop on our excursion was the beautiful Ann Arbor Country Club. This is another great venue to host your next event. They work with Primovations Catering and they had a sampling of their appetizers waiting for us.
