Long or Short Engagement?

A lot of brides are asking the question: How long should I
wait after I am engaged to get married?

The truth is, there is no right answer!

According to Jason Greene, the regional director of a
statewide marriage and relationship program in Texas, a long engagement is better than a
short one, but he also notes that what happens during the engagement has a
greater impact on the length of the marriage that how long the engagement is.

With this being said, the length of time that is right, is
different for each couple. Other factors may include how long a couple has been
in a relationship before getting engaged, as well as the time of year they get
engaged versus what time of year they want their big day to be held on.

So long or short? You decide what feels best for your
relationship and the rest will work itself out!
