September 2, 2018, Nicole and
Ken were wed on the Detroit waterfront. They had a perfect outdoor ceremony.
Ceremonies on the waterfront tend to be a little windier and this day was no exception. After we had worked inside setting up place cards, signs, card box, table numbers and holders, cake and knife set, ketubah and some other essentials we headed outside to prepare for the ceremony. We had the programs, flower girl basket, ring bearer box, wine, kiddush cup, yarmulke and a few other things to set up. Upon our arrival the Chuppah that was standing when we arrived a few hours earlier had fell to the ground due to the wind and it not being properly secured for a waterfront wedding. We immediately worked with the Rattlesnake team and did what we could to get it back up and held into place as best we could from placing rocks and potted plants for extra weight at the four corners so keep it up. It was quite challenging but we made it work!
Our blonde hair bride got ready at home with some of her dearest friends.
Love these shoes!
Meanwhile, the gentlemen got ready at the Atheneum Suites Hotel.
The gorgeous couple decided to do a first look. These perfect little moments allow the couple to spend some time together before feeling the pressure in front of everyone else.
After their ceremony, this Detroit blooded wedding party headed around town to take some gorgeous pictures.
After running around downtown, it was time to party! Their reception was held within the atrium of the Rattlesnake Club.
The Hora is always a fun Jewish tradition!
Notice our gorgeous bride even slipped into a second wedding dress and accessories more suitable for getting down on the dance floor!! She looked absolutely gorgeous in both dress choices!
We are so thrilled that we were able to be a part of Nicole and Ken’s big day. We wish the best for this fun couple and cannot wait for future that awaits them.
