You’re The Bride Supports Wish Upon a Wedding
Wish Upon a Wedding is a charity that was founded in the San Francisco bay area in January 2010.
It’s Mission:
Wish Upon a Wedding is the world’s first nonprofit wedding wish granting organization, dedicated to providing weddings for individuals facing life-threatening illness, regardless of sexual orientation, at destinations across the United States.
There are currently 16 chapters in the United States (the Michigan chapter is launching this year!). The organization relies on volunteers, and there are currently some 2,000 nationwide. To qualify for a wish, the recipients must be 18 or older, legal citizens of the United States, and one person must have been diagnosed with less than three years to live.
