Andrea and Carl hired You’re The Bride to do day-of-coordination for their May 10th nuptials just three short weeks before. YTB started our day at the Italian American Banquet Center in Livonia, MI bright and early to set up the room for the couple’s elegant evening reception. Last year’s intern Karoline joined us to lend a hand on this special day. With no time to waste, we got to work setting up gorgeous silver linens with persimmon accents throughout the room. Beautiful Chiavari chairs added extra elegance to an already picturesque room.
As we were setting up the reception, Jen and Brianne from Jen Prouty Photography arrived to Andrea’s parents home to take some pictures of the bridal party as they got ready for this special day.
Carl and the groomsmen had a little fun as well.
Before the ceremony was to begin, YTB headed to Faith Lutheran Church in Livonia, MI to help get the bridal party settled in and ensure everything was running smoothly. We pinned down the aisle runner and set up the frame and sand for the sand ceremony. Karoline helped Tracie pin on boutonniere’s and hand out bouquets. I headed upstairs to the sound board to prepare the welcome music and settle in as I handled the music for the ceremony. Groomsman Josh designed and created the programs for the happy couple.
As the ceremony began, the bridal party walked in to “A Thousand Years” instrumental.
The beautiful bride was escorted down the aisle by her father to “Clair de Lune”. All eyes were on Andrea as she walked toward an anxious Carl who was smiling ear to ear.
“Can’t Help Falling in Love” instrumental played as Carl & Andrea invited their mother’s to take part in the sand ceremony representing the joining of two families into one.
As they were pronounced man and wife, “Marry You” by Bruno Mars sounded through the Church and it was the perfect song to introduce them to the world for the first time as a married couple.
“Don’t Stop Believing” played as guests exited the church and gave them a taste of whats to come at the reception.
As the Bridal party headed to take photos, Karoline and I stayed behind to help clean up at the church and transport flowers back to the reception where Tracie was fast at work putting the finishing touches on the room.
Groomsman Josh had a surprise up his sleeve for the happy couple:
A trail mix bar for guests to create their own mix to take home.
Cocktail hour began at 6:00 and lasted longer than anticipated as traffic caused the bridal party to be fashionably late. But just take a look at some of these stunning photos:
The bridal party definitely looks like they had fun taking all of these creative shots. The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their persimmon dresses which perfectly complimented the groomsmen grey suits.
Andrea and Carl made their grand entrance in style!
Andrea & Carl look so much in love as they dance their first dance as husband and wife.
The Father-daughter dance was a very intimate moment between Andrea and her dad and “Butterfly Kisses” was the song of choice.
Carl and his mom shared a special moment as they danced to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”
After the ceremonial dances the party really got started. Guests ate, drank, and danced the night away!
Congratulations Andrea & Carl!
You’re The Bride is honored to have been a part of your special day.
We wish you lots of love and laughter!
