Cobblestone Farms ~ Gina + Matt 9/4/15
Gina and her Mom Gay contacted me (Tracie) in January 2015 to enlist our help with the set-up
of the wedding as they were DIY’ing many things and needed coordination help with the day. They booked us for rehearsal services as well to run through the ceremony so everyone would know what to do on the big day.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain so we didn’t end up having the rehearsal at the barn in Ann Arbor due to the ground being too wet since it was an outdoor ceremony. Gina’s cousin Josh of Thomas’s Catering was accommodating to let us use the inside of the Sacred Heart Banquet Hall that he manages.
On the day of Thomas’s Catering and the YTB Team worked together to get the inside of the barn ready for guest arrival immediately after the outdoor ceremony. Cobblestone is a challenging venue since everything has to be brought in except tables and chairs. Luckily, both teams have worked here many times before so we knew what to expect and were able to give the couple exactly what they wanted.
Matthew loves these little pumpkins and it certainly ties in with the decor for their fall themed wedding!
The inside of the barn looked amazing with everything in place. Thomas’s Catering prepared a delicious spaghetti dinner served family style at the Bride’s request since it was her favorite dish!
Thomas’s Catering provided these wooden stump pieces to display the delicious cupcakes on.
The caterer was also able to provide these old-fashioned glass Faygo bottles which were a big hit among the guests.
YTB Interns Lisa and Lindsay took care of making popcorn in this cute old-fashioned cart!
The “First Look” is always a favorite moment of mine for our couples.
The good looking Bridal Party!
Gina and her Maids all looking pretty. I love the yellow contrast of the flowers against the navy dresses!
Why yes we even had a farm animal watch the ceremony from across the way!
A proud moment when Gina’s brother Ben escorted her down the aisle.
The front porch was personally decorated by Josh of Thomas’s Catering. He sure doesn’t miss a beat with his decorating skills!
Congratulations Gina and Matthew!
