Arnaldo’s Banquet Center ~ Stephanie + Nicholas 9/21/13

This is one very special couple and Melissa, Rachel and I were so excited to help out with setting up
Stephanie’s fabulous creations. Stephanie hired us for Rehearsal and Day-of Coordination knowing
that since she was a very heavy DIY bride that she would need the help of a team to set everything
up at the ceremony and the hall. There was so much that her Dad brought everything in a trailer
for us to set up. It was probably the most setup I have ever done in 14 years at one wedding but my team handled it effortlessly and were done with time to spare!

We started our day at Arnaldo’s in Riverview and worked on the setup for almost 3 hours before
heading over the Taylor Conservatory. Before we departed for the ceremony Rob and Nicci from Encore Event Group arrived so they could start working on their magic. They brought their fun photobooth, lighting, drapery and of course the tunes!

Upon arriving to the Conservatory there was a power issue that we worked through. Stephanie’s brother brought his DJ equipment but we also had the venue’s system for a backup plan. Once I heard of the issue I immediately called Crystal Gardens who manages these weddings at the Conservatory and we got things working. Never a dull moment on a wedding day and we must always be prepared for whatever comes our way. We also received flowers from the florist and we cut several mums down and placed them into vintage bottles to add to the ceremony decor. Everything looked great!

Once the ceremony got started I headed back over to the hall to put finishing touches on things and Melissa and Rachel stayed to supervise the ceremony and seat late guests.

The dinner was a delicious buffet with many selections.  I have done 2 other weddings at this venue and I was quite impressed with the food as I don’t ever remember it being as good as it was that night! Everything is homemade and it shows.

I loved watching Stephanie and Nicholas as they danced their first dance. You could feel the love between them and I know they will be happy together forever!

One of my favorite things of the day was when the cutest flower girl ever walked down the aisle carrying a sign that said “Üncle Pasta Here Comes Your Girl”. I just loved Stella such a cutie! Secondly, seeing Stephanie’s Dad walk her down the aisle and then turn around and officiate the nuptials of his daughter was also very special.
