Your Bridesmaids Dresses
When choosing your bridesmaid dresses, it’s important that you keep all of your bridesmaids in mind. You want everyone to look beautiful, so make sure you choose something that will flatter each bridesmaid. Just because you have several bridesmaids doesn’t they have to all wear matching dresses. It’s easy to stick with your vision and theme, and still ensure each girl loves what she’s wearing.
If your girls are different sizes, try selecting a color, fabric, and manufacturer and then allow each bridesmaid to choose their style. Many designers will have dozens of options to choose from.
Another option would be to choose the style of dress, and let your bridesmaids pick their colors. For example, if you’re having an autumn wedding, your bridesmaids could choose a red, yellow, orange, brown or gold dress. If your wedding has a purple theme, you’re bridesmaids could select from different shades of purple.
It’s also not unheard of to give your bridesmaids a color palette, and let them choose any dress they like, as long as it fits in the palette.
Think about going for separates. You could ask your bridesmaids to all wear the same skirt, but allow them to choose their own top in the color of your choice. This way each girl can find something that’s flattering for her.
Add individual accent colors for each girl. For example, if your bridesmaids are all wearing black dresses, give each of them a different color sash.
